Check out the poster and get more information at this link – Race School Information.\n\n\n Contact nascc.events@gmail.com for more information.\n\nWCMA 2026 Alberta Region Season Championship at two venues\, in Nisku and Carstairs.\n\nRace at both venues to earn WCMA season championship points and maximise your chance to be on the Championship podium by the end of September\n\nSubaru City Festival Event RACES 2026 at RAD Torque Raceway in Nisku click here for schedule of Festival weekends\n\nMay 9 WCMA High Performance Driving and Race Licensing School\n June 13 & 14 Subaru City Combined Sprint & Endurance Races\n August 22 & 23 Subaru City WCMA Overal Championship and Combined Sprint & Endurance Races\n\nWCMA RACES 2026 at Rocky Mountain Motorsports\, near Carstairs\, check Alberta Race Car Association website\n\nMay 30 & 31 16 hour Parc Ferme Endurance Race\nJuly 18 & 19 Sprint races\nSept 19 Sprint and/or Endurance races\n\n  \nHow will Subaru City TrackFest combined Sprint/Endurance weekends work?\n\nThe combined events are intended to increase the Festival Atmosphere of racing at RAD Torque.\nNormal Sprint practice and qualifying on Saturday\, two Sprint Races for Vintage and Open Wheel\, one Sprint Race for Closed Wheel\, and one (possibly 2) King of the Road races for Closed Wheel.  Sunday’s will be a typical Sprint Race weekend schedule.  This structure gives all run groups essentially the same amount of track time as in previous seasons.\n8 hour Endurance will start around 4 to 5 pm and run 4 h to 8 or 9 pm for the first 4 hours on Saturday\, then the remaining 4 hours will run on Sunday\, from about 4 to 8 pm.  The break between the two halves of the race will be open for car repair and preparation.\nWhat to Expect at a Festival-Style Race Weekend\n\nExpanded Racing Events\n\n\n\n\nTraditional road racing\, endurance racing\, with new time attack competitions remain the backbone of the event.\nA larger focus on multiple types of racing ensures an engaging mix of grassroots drivers sharing the track.\n\n\n\n\nMore Spectator Engagement\n\n\n\n\nLive commentary\, pit access tours\, and interactive displays allow fans to get closer to the action.\nFan zones with food trucks\, local vendors\, and motorsports merchandise create a lively festival atmosphere are in negotiation with RAD Torque\n\n\n\n\nEntertainment Beyond Racing\n\n\n\n\nIn negotiation with RAD Torque are Evening concerts\, beer gardens\, and family-friendly activities ensure there’s something for everyone.\n\n\n\n\nCar Culture Celebration\n\n\n\n\nCar shows and club meets featuring classic\, exotic\, and performance vehicles bring together enthusiasts from various automotive communities.\nDrift exhibitions\, autocross demonstrations\, and rally showcases highlight different facets of motorsport.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRACE DETAILS & REGULATIONS\n\n\n\n\nENDURANCE RACING FORMATS\n\nOn a given race day\, there are multiple endurance formats available: \n\n1.5 hour Micro-Endurance King of the Road Races – 1 driver team entry\, plus crew.  Runs simultaneously with the 7-12 hour race.\n3 hour Mini-Endurance Ironman Races – 2-3 driver team\, plus crew.  Runs simultaneously with the 7-12 hour race.  Can be entered as a two car tag team\, with two drivers and two cars.\n7 – 12  hour Endurance Races – 3 to 6 driver team\, plus crew. Keep an Endurance Car running for 7-12 (typically 8) hours\, and share the fun\, driving\, workload and car thrashing with 4 or more of your best racing buddies\, a novice driver\, or your best crew.  Raises a smile most every time! DISCOUNTS AVAILABLE FOR NOVICES!\n\nSPRINT RACING FORMATS\nSprint racing races typically last 15-20 minutes in length with competitors participating in multiple races per race day. Over the course of a weekend there can be 6-8 races\, 2 practice sessions\, and a qualifying session providing several hours of “seat time” for a given racer.
