DESCRIPTION:Northern Alberta Sports Car Club (NASCC) Introduces Festival Race Weekends \nNASCC is making exciting changes in 2025 and will offer Sprint\, Endurance\, and Time Attack championship races all on the same weekend\, the first events of their kind in Western Canada! The events will run as part of the WCMA championship\, at Rad Torque Raceway in 2025. We are pleased to work with our friends at ARCA in offering an Alberta-based championship in Sprint and Endurance – competitors wishing to pursue the WCMA Alberta championship will need to participate in both NASCC and ARCA events. \nNASCC Events at RAD Torque Raceway sanctioned by the WCMA \n\nJune 21 & 22 Combined Sprint\, Endurance\, & Time Attack races\nJuly 26 & 27 Combined Sprint\, Endurance\, & Time Attack races\nAugust 23 & 24 Combined Sprint\, Endurance\, & Time Attack races\nSeptember 20 & 21 Combined Sprint\, Endurance\, & Time Attack races\n\nA New Era of Motorsport Events in Western Canada\nThe NASCC has long been a cornerstone of Alberta’s racing scene\, hosting competitive events that bring together local and regional drivers. However\, with changing times and a shift in car counts along with growing interest in cross-discipline motorsports events\, the club is shifting gears to a joint festival format that will blend thrilling sprint\, endurance\, and time attack action into a single weekend. In addition\, there will be car shows\, vendor booths\, and other experience based activities available for the entertainment of all. \nWhat to expect \n\nMulti-discipline race events – weekends will include road racing\, endurance racing\, and a new time attack championship showcasing the fastest cars Alberta has to offer. Sprint and Time Attack sessions\, including racing\, will typically occur during the morning and afternoon both Saturday and Sunday\, with a split-8 endurance race running late afternoon for 4 hours on Saturday\, and in the afternoon for 4 hours on Sunday.  You can see an example schedule at this link.\nLive announcing and live streaming – professional live commentary and an accompanying YouTube live stream will run throughout our events.\nEntertainment – Saturday evenings which include live music\, a party in the pits\, and many other options spread throughout the season are in negotiation with RAD Torque Raceway.\nCar shows – plans are going forward foreach weekend to feature an exclusive car show area\, highlighting a selection of classic\, exotic\, and performance vehicles from Alberta’s robust automotive community.\n\nIntroducing Alberta’s only FIA / WCMA sanctioned Time Attack Championship\nAlberta has long been home to highly competitive solo sport\, lapping\, and time attack events. The NASCC is proud to offer the first officially WCMA & FIA sanctioned\, licensed Time Attack regional championship of its kind in Alberta. DESCRIPTION:Motorheads Track Attacks\nIf you have a great time riding your bike on the street\, get ready to improve your skills on an open track with none of the hazards of street riding and all of the safety of a closed course. Bring your skills to the next level; Our Expert Instructors will help develop your riding skills\, from slow speed tight patterns\, to high speed braking\, obstacle avoidance and everything in between. \nProgram dates are open to Licensed Riders of every skill level. Each day will group riders into four groups: Novice\, Intermediate\, Advance\, and Expert (Race license required). Classroom & Riding Sessions for each Level. \nOur mission is to deliver the safest\, most exhilarating and affordable ways to test the limits of your motorcycle on a closed race course. \n  \n8:00am-4:00pm Track is live. \nHave your online waiver signed\, it is good for the 2025 season. Please arrive minimum 30 minutes before track is live for registration and riders meeting.
