We are pleased to host the 2026 NHRA Summit Racing Equipment Canadian ET Finals – Northwest Division Presented by Hoosier at Rad Torque Raceway from August 29–30\, 2026. This event represents the ultimate showdown for the best bracket racers in the region. Whether you are chasing a Wally or looking to represent your home track\, here is the essential information for the upcoming race weekend. \nThis is the Road to Vegas! \n  \nEvent Schedule\nPlease note the gate times and race order to ensure a smooth weekend of competition. \nFriday\, August 28 \n\nParking Begins: 12:00 pm\nTest and Tune Lane: In conjuction with JB’s Power Centre Street Legals\n\nSaturday\, August 29 \n\nGates Open: 7:30 am\nGambler Race & Time Trials: 9:00 am\nTeam Race: To follow the Gambler\n\nSunday\, August 30 \n\nGates Open: 7:30 am\nMain Event Q1: 9:00 am\nMain Event Eliminations: To follow qualifying\n\n\nCompetitor Fees\n\n\n\nCategory\nFee\n\n\nTest and Tune Lane (Friday)\n$40\n\n\nCar and Driver – SP and Pro\n$150\n\n\nCar and Driver – Sportsman/Bike-Sled\n$120\n\n\nCar and Driver – Juniors (all classes)\n$80\n\n\nFull Event Crew\n$60\n\n\nFull Event Child (6-12)\n$15\n\n\nChildren 5 and under\nFree\n\n\n\nAll prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and subject to applicable taxes and fees. \nSpectators must enter through the front gate. Spectators entering through the back gate will be charged as Crew. \nTeam Structure\nEach participating track can bring as many entries as they like! Team members MUST have competed in a minimum of three Summit ET Points events at the track they are representing. You must have physically attended those 3 events. \n\n\n\nTeam Designators\n\n\n\nA – Lost Creek\nL – Lewistown\n\n\nB – Bremerton\nM – Mission\n\n\nC – Coos Bay\nP – Portland\n\n\nD – Madras\nQ – Qlispe\n\n\nE – Rad Torque\nR – Renegade\n\n\nF – Firebird\nS – Pacific\n\n\nG- Nitro Motorsports Park\nW – Woodburn\n\n\nH – Medicine Hat\nY – Yellowstone\n\n\nJ – Medford\nZ – Walla Walla\n\n\nK – Alaska\n\n\n\n\nTeam Captains\nEach team is allowed 2 Team Captains. Team Captains will handle any and all questions that arise during the event. Rad Torque Raceway Race Control Tower will be restricted and limited to essential staff and NHRA officials. Should a Captain have a question\, please come to the tower. Division Director ruling in any dispute is final. Additionally\, Division Director can levy any penalties towards an individual or team based on racer/crew unsportsmanlike conduct or actions in Race Control or Starting Line. \nPit Vehicles\nTeam Captains are responsible for policing their team’s pit vehicles for improper use. ALL drivers must be 16 years of age and possess a valid drivers license. \nEvent Categories and Technical Specs\nFrom the high-speed electronics of Super Pro to our rising Junior stars\, the Northwest Division offers a class for every competitor. \n\n\n\nSuper Pro\n4.30 – 7.70;  Electronics allowed (1/8 Mile)\n\n\nPro\n9.00 – 14.00; Transbrake allowed\n\n\nSportsman\n11.60 and slower; No Electronics\n\n\nBike/Sled\n7.00 – 13.99; Electronics allowed\n\n\nJr. Street\nQuickest dial in allowed: 9.00 (1/8 mile).\n\n\nJr. Lightning\nAges 13 and older\n\n\nJr. Thunder\nAges 6-12\n\n\n\nRun Order\nSportsman\, Pro\, Super Pro\, Bike/Sled\, Jr. Street\, Jr. Thunder\, Jr. Lightning for Saturday and Sunday. \nGambler Race\nOn Saturday\, there will be a gambler race. 7 classes: Super Pro\, Pro\, Sportsman\, Bike/Sled\, Jr. Street\, Jr. Thunder\, and Jr. Lightning. Entry Fee: Super Pro and Pro $100; All other classes $60\, CAD\, paid in the staging lanes. \nThe Gambler race will be the first thing on track Saturday morning. If you are eliminated in the 1st round of the gambler\, you may get a 2nd run with the non-gamblers. Once a competitor has had two runs down the track\, their day is complete. The exception are the gambler competitors still in eliminations after the 2nd round. \nTeam Race\nAfter the completion of the gambler\, each track can select 3 competitors in each of the 7 categories to participate in the team race. Each round win earns a point for the team. The team with the most points earned will be the champion. Special awards to be handed out to each category champion. Random draw for the 1st round single; subsequent round bye runs will be the best reaction time from the previous round. Bye run does not carry over. \nLane Assignments\, Pairings\, and Byes\n\nAll classes will be called to the lanes in sessions.\nFor the Gambler\, the potential first round bye will be a random draw\, with the best winning reaction time earning the bye in the following rounds. Bye does not carry over.\nSunday’s qualifying session will be set by reaction time. A sportsman ladder will be used.\n\nNHRA Membership and Competition Number Required\nAll competitors must be NHRA Members in order to participate. All competitors must also have a valid and current NHRA competition number. All competitors must have a current NHRA License\, if applicable. \nClass Changes\, Multiple Entries\, Multiple Drivers\nClass changes need to done in the tower. During each day\, each car can only have one driver and each car can only compete in one class. Under no circumstances can a car make multiple runs in a time trial session. Drivers are allowed to compete in multiple classes provided they meet eligibility requirements and have two separate cars. A broken race car in eliminations cannot be replaced. \nPit Area and Conduct\nRad Torque Raceway is a shared community. We ask that all participants curtail noisy activities after 10:00 pm. Please be respectful of the facility by using trash cans and leaving your designated pit area clean. \nPit Vehicles\nTeam Captains are responsible for policing their team’s pit vehicles for improper use. ALL drivers must be 16 years of age and possess a valid drivers license. \nSpecial Awards\nFor those interested in the aesthetics of the sport\, the NHRA Certification Team will be awarding Best Appearing vehicles in each major category\, along with a Best Engineered award. \nJr. Street\nJr. Street is reserved for Jr. Street registered racers 13-16 per Jr. Street rules. Any competitor running quicker than 8.50 at any time will be disqualified from the event. The quickest you can dial in is 9.00. EV’s are not allowed in Jr. Street. \nJr. Dragster\nEach track may send as many racers as they want.  Racers will be split into Lightning and Thunder based on age.  A driver that started the season as a 12-year- old but is 13 at the time of the ET Finals may run in Jr. Thunder but cannot dial quicker than 8.90.  Team members MUST have competed in a minimum of three Summit ET Points events at the track they are representing.  You must have physically attended those 3 events. \nSummit Series Decals\nEach Competitor is required to run the respective (Summit or JDRL) series decal for the duration of the event.  Failure to display the appropriate series decal is grounds for disqualification from the event\, per the Division Director. \nContingency Money\nSunday Main Event Winners and Runner up finishers in Super Pro\, Pro\, Sportsman\, and Bike/Sled are eligible to receive contingency money from participating contingency sponsors. Racers are responsible for adhering to all contingency rules and regulations displaying necessary stickers/running specific products as determined by sponsors. \nPost-Round Infractions\nIf after a competition round\, a competitor is found to be in violation of a safety item (whether through spot inspection/peer reporting) will face potential consequences up to and including disqualification from the remainder of the day’s event. The opposing competitor will not be reinstated back into competition in these circumstances. The final penalty of the offender will be at the sole discretion of the Division Director/Race Director. \nIf a potential violation is discovered by a competitor prior to staging\, they can notify starting line or staging lane personnel. The competitor can have reasonable time to correct the matter. Once staged\, they have accepted the condition of the round\, and the race will be considered final once completed. \nAdditional ET Finals Rules and Regulations\n\nAll classes will be run on a five-tenth full tree with the exception of Bike/Sled.\nDeep staging will be allowed\, but it may not be written on the vehicle. The starter will not wait for the competitor to deep stage. It is the responsibility of the competitor to get in.\nBike/Sled will run a split tree. Racers wanting a Pro tree must put a “P” at the end of the dial in (i.e. 9.00P).\nCrosstalk will be used in Super Pro only. Racers not wanting Crosstalk need to put an “N” at the end of their dial.\nNo passengers at any time with the exception of Jr. Street.\nDial in’s and numbers must be clear and visible on the front\, right side\, and rear window. Rad Torque Raceway’s drag strip has a right side tower.\nShoe polish numbers are only allowed in Sportsman and Jr. Street. Division Director can make exceptions.\nDial in’s cannot be changed past designated signage at the front of staging unless approved by Division Director.\nOnce a driver pre-stages\, they have accepted the conditions of the race. Re-runs will not be granted.\nExcessive braking is grounds for disqualification. Division Director decision is final and may not be appealed.\nAny racer or crew member found to be under the influence of alcohol or other substances during racing hours or conducting themselves in an unsportsmanlike manner will be immediately excused from the event.\nTeam designator must be displayed on the driver side lower portion of the windshield\, top of the cowl on dragsters\, and on the front light for motorcycles.\nRacers can only compete for one team at the Summit Racing Equipment ET Finals.\nDelay boxes must be completely removed from the vehicle with the exception of Super Pro and Bike/Sled.\nNo artificial noisemakers allowed\nA driver may compete in a maximum of 2 classes. Junior competitors are permitted to race in 2 classes in addition to their Junior dragster class if they earned the position on the team.\n\nPayouts and Road to the National Championship\nThe Sunday Main Event is where history is made.
